1. Psychiatrist
Eligibility: MD Psychiatry / DPM / DNB Psychiatry. Preferably having experience of working in a Drug de-addiction centre for at least six month.
Duties: At the time of admission he has to assesses and diagnose the patient after taking the objective & subjective details of the illness. To advise the pharmacological treatment required, and ensure holistic management of each patient by engagement in indoor and outdoor sports, group and family counselling, and blend of modern treatment with spiritual component. Takes round of the ward with the nursing and other paramedical staff; Involve the other staff members in training i.e. discussions, seminars and case presentation; Oversees the general administration of the indoor and outdoor departments of the Drug de-addiction centre.
2. Medical Officer
Eligibility: MBBS. Preference: At least six months experience in Addiction medicine.
Duties: Required to do diagnosis and facilitate treatment; handle patient care; attend to emergency cases; perform supervisory and administrative duties and provide guidance to nursing staff; oversee sanitation and hygiene maintenance.
3. Psychologist
Eligibility: MA / Ph.D in Psychology. Desirable: Candidate with at least one year of relevant experience.
Duties: To help the psychiatrist in assessing the emotional and psychological factors contributing to the cause of the problem; conduct non-pharmacological therapy as cognitive behavior therapy; psychoeducation; and individual and group therapy; conduct family therapy sessions.
4. Nurse
Eligibility: B.Sc. (Nursing) / GNM. Preference: Minimum one year work experience in a hospital / nursing home.
Duties: All patient-care duties assigned to them; knowledge of management of patient and ward; to work as a team player and inspiring leader; possess good counselling and communication skills.
5. Ward Attendant
Eligibility: 12th (+2) passed. Preference: The candidates with hospital / nursing home experience; should be good communicator, expected to deal with the patients with calmness and patience.
Duties: To assist the medical, paramedical and security staff in managing the patients of drug addiction; ensure the patients are fed properly; maintain the cleanliness of floors of the rooms, and dusting; assist the patient in getting in and out to the bed; helping the patient in getting to the toilet, bathe and dress up.
6. Social Worker
Eligibility: MSW (Master’s degree in Social work) Preference: Candidate with relevant experience at a medical institution / hospital shall be preferred.
Duties: To handle individual and group conselling of patients; collect patient’s and family history; case history files maintenance; prepare monthly and quarterly data reports; maintain library and issue books; and any other work assigned by the superior authority.
7. Lab Technician
Eligibility: DMLT / B.Sc (MLT) / MLT. Skill required: Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position. Excellent physical condition and endurance. Valid laboratory technician licence.
Duties: To receive sample and analyze samples (blood, to analyze urine for drugs, urine etc); execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings; organize and store all chemical substances fluids etc as per safety instructions; Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
8. Pharmacist
Eligibility: Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) / Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) Desirable: Candidate with relevant experience of minimum one year at a hospital / medical institution or pharmacy.
Duties: To dispense appropriate and quality medicine as prescribed; maintain proper stocking and labeling of medicines; deal with pharmaceutical and insurance companies; manage staff and perform administrative tasks assigned by the authorities.
9. Office Assistant
Eligibility: A Graduate in any stream with the knowledge of computer skills – M.S. Office, Tally, Internet surfing with good knowledge of typing. Desirable: Candidate with at least one year experience shall be preferred.
10. Divinity Teacher
Eligibility: 12th (+2) and Santhya from any recognized religious institution. Preference: Previous experience of having worked in a centre / hospital / a religious place of worship.
Duties: To conduct the scheduled prayers three times daily. Should be able to address the patients as a Kathbachak on some topics of Gurmat. Preferably he should be able to sing Gurbani on musical instruments. In other words he should able to perform Kirtan. The Gurbani and Kirtan make a soothing effect on the mind of patients which goes a long way in improving their mental condition.
